Candle-making workshop
A restaurant like Nyota alone cannot make the world a better place, but we can try to contribute.
Every week, we organise a candle-making workshop for our customers, but also for the residents.
They can both make their candles here and take them home.
For our customers this is a very creative way to experience the “African Nyota feeling”.
For the residents, this is a creative way to give the villages a warm feeling. They will show that even in the darkest hours, there will be light and hope.
During this candle workshop we have noticed that locals and customers learn a lot about each other, which gives an understanding of what the life of the other is like.
Our staff
For Nyota it is important that our staff members enjoy their work. It should be relaxing, enjoyable and not feel like working.
All our staff members get free meals and (non-alcoholic) drinks. Furthermore, all our drivers will be provided with good trainings to guarantee the privacy and safety of people ánd animals.
