We are a Dutch company that moved to Tanzania, because we were and still are intrigued by the beauty of the Tanzanian nature and culture.

We learned a lot about Tanzania including the language, Swahili.

The stars are one of the focal points of this restaurant, that is why we named our restaurant "Nyota", which means "stars" in Swahili.
